The Revd Andrew Ashdown, Chairman of the Deanery Overseas Mission Committee has sent a message of prayerful support and condolence to Bishop Jackson on behalf of  the Deanery.

Bishop Jackson’s response is below.

“Am glad to hear from you and your kind Prayer, Sympathies and Prayers for us and our Country men and women.

We are slowly recovering from the Huge shock following the Massacre of over 100 Innocent Civilians by the Gov. Troops, on 25th and 26th, Nov.2016 and  the Burning of the Royal Palace of the King of Kasese.

Fortunately there are no displaced Families as the attacked concentrated on Cultural Sites.

The Situation is back to normal with People resuming their Every day work.”
